I normally cruise at 25-30 by myself because my powerband is so smooth, but my spare bike can not keep up with me so i have to cruise around 20 which makes it jerky when letting off the throttle.
A well tuned carb and a good exhaust will have the spare bike cruising at 30mph easy with a stock engine and a 36T rear sprocket.
I dont always ride WOT, but when I do..I do my best to keep the rubber side down..Ride safely my friends!
