24ccs mounted right as friction drive can move an average guy about 20mph, maybe more depending. Im currently working on my friction drive 25cc build. You need to decide if you want friction drive or chain driven. The money you want to spend is you limit here, But your concern about finding parts? Is that parts for the actual motor itself or parts for mounting? If its parts for you motor, unless your weedeater is ancient, Homedeopt and lowes still sell parts for even some of their older models online. Your local small engines repair guy, is always a good place to start aswell. Mounting is based on the type of bike your going to be using. Get us some pics, maybe some more information on what drive method youve decided. There are plenty of people here to help you along the way. Good luck with the build!!
