Definitely...I discovered this when I completely disassembled an engine... I didn't think anything of it at the time. I got in two more engine kits, and we were checking the actuators for fitment, one was REALLY tight!!! I then remembered how the clutch is configured from the disassembly I had done earlier. We adjusted the primary spring and had a normal clutch!
