This is a picture of my great granddaughter asking me to take her for another ride. Her Grandparents just got back from taking her for a ride and she wasn't ready to stop yet. They are in the second picture. Yes we went for a couple of rides more before she had to leave. This day paid for the bike, parts labor and all.

Anyone else have some pictures of their family and friends with bikes?

Thank you, Jim. That was cool. She looks like she was enjoying it as much as you did. :)

Thanks everyone. The kids seem to love the side car. If I had known it was going to be this much fun I would have built on a long time ago.
Thanks again guys.

Here is an old photo of me and Alexia after a four hour ride on the B1. In the second photo she is a little upset at me because I said it was too dark to continue riding. She just did not want to climb out of that trailer.

If there's something cooler than a sidecar on one of these........someone tell me what it is!.............nice

Jimmy......any plans for that sidecar?

I didn't make any plans. Just started cutting, bending and welding. I know that's not the best way to do something, but I was only going to build one and didn't know what it was going to look like when I started.
Here is a shot of the frame.

Bill,
Some day those little ladys will be telling their own children about their grandpa who used to take them riding "in this neat little trailer he pulled behind his bicycle".
Of course that will be many many years from now. :)

Kids love MTB's!

Here's a pic of the mod I did using conduit routed to the back of the trailer to keep the exhaust off the passenger. I used rubber hose to allow movement as the bike turns. If you look close, you can see the pipe exiting behind the trailer.
