Default Re: Puerto Rico La Jolla Build

my very first build was a la the bike but it was a pain to get the motor in, change your front mount to a muffler exhaust will save yourself a lot of trouble...check your wheels often i found that the torque from the motor kept screwing with my rear hub and finally ingested its bearings...also since its aluminum you cant weld your tensioner in sure to secure it as best as you tensioner pulled into the wheel and sna[[ed off 6 spokes, ate the coaster break arm, and snapped the chainstay on the engine side...i still use the 5inch mini apes for handlebars that came the look and even went so far as to paint parts that same burnt orange...good luck and welcome to your new addiction
Thats a lot of moving parts...hope it all works...
