The problem would be charging the battery and shy of using the HS144 with the generator I don't know how one would keep the battery charged.
In the front black box on my bike is a 12v LiFePo4 motorcycle battery. It's unphased by any kind of load on it. I only have to recharge it about once a week and I ride at night a lot and it powers a 20 watt front LED headlight.
