Re: How comfortable is your 'shop' ?
I lived in southern Ontario until moving out here 5 years ago, and spent close to 15 years as a contract courrier there. As my own mechanic, I remember many winter nights spent lying in the open driveway trying to get the car repaired and back on the road for the morning. Usually starter motors (I could drop, strip, rebuild and reinstall mine in less that 90 mins back then), loose belts, hoses blowing but my heater core blew once. Very messy, saturated everything in the front wall area. Took a week to dry it out after the new one went in.
This is the first place I've actually had a 'shop', I've usually kept a small workbench somewhere in the basement for tinkering though.
Any day that starts with a good ride is already a better day, and a bad day riding still beats a good day working.
