You will be pleased with the rear mount, The key is to mount it level, and line the sprockets up. I have been on those "boats" up there, it IS fun.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a good plan.
I know you are excited, but take your time with the build and double check bolt tightness and such.
You don't wan't to have to pull over every block or so to tighten something when the time for that first ride arrives.
