cranbrook frame weakness, pried a wide wheel into it
i pried a mountain bike wheel that was about 1/2 - 3/4" wider than the original wheel into my cranbrook. i was reading the "how to beef up my cruiser" thread and someone mentioned the weakest part of the frame being the wheel attachment points (welds, "hook", or whatever other term was used). since i, in all my wisdom, assumed that the frame was plenty strong and pried it apart, will this probably weaken the frame and lead to Oh-****-My-Rear-Wheel-Fell-Off-While-Going-25mph?
i don't see any cracks on the rear fork near the wheel attachment nor the welds securing the rear forks to the main frame tubing.
