This may help with installing your crank One-Piece Cranks or you can google "one piece crank removal" and "one piece crank installation" Sheldon Brown's site has gotten me through some sticky situations. As for the pull start, that's an easy one. These engines have pretty high compression, especially if you are running a slant head. I personally like pedal start better. If you want to make it easier to start and have some money in your pocket, you could pay your local machine shop to cnc and thread a hole so you can pop in one of these I have one on my scooter, and it makes starting much easier! The decompression valve is usually machined to go next to the spark plug. Good luck! hope this helps!
