2-strokes are on the way out thanks to the EPA. The new 4-stroke kits cost more, but you're always going to get more torque if not RPM's out of a thumper. I probably should have done more research before diving into a 2-stroke kit, but I've got it now. So I'm just going to savor this first build and wait til 4-stroke jackshaft kits become prevalent.
The two stroke/epa thing is still an internet rumor.....and four strokes don't always make more rpm or more torque per cc than two strokes.
