That just looks like a terrible place to have an engine to me. I have problems sometimes getting in/out of places where I can lock my bike with a rack mount, that would be far worse. What happens when you hit a pothole, etc. in the road with that set up? Maybe you don't have stuff like that where you are but there's no shortage of road obstacles here. I can't imagine a bike with that kit would handle very well and you never know when you are going to have to swerve, lock up the brakes, etc. It happens where I am almost daily.

I agree with the starting part, even though the R/S engine hasn't stalled except when it's raining. I shut off the engine and coast down hills all the time and just reach back and start it at the bottom of the hill.

I don't know why you would want to buy a kit with 0 reviews for a whole $20 less instead of a kit with plenty of excellent reviews for only $20 more, that's the price difference on ebay anyway.
