Cruiser-style bikes usually work the best, or bikes with a LOT of space in the middle, and normal size frame tubes(not oversize tubes). Usually older bikes. If the bikes shifts, you won't have to worry about modifying the brake arm that one-speeds usually have. Most people like the Cruiser bikes.
Thanks so much for your information. I am currently looking around at Pirate Cycles and like what I am seeing thus far. I am thinking, that one might as well buy a performance package right out of the gate as he/she will end up modifying in the future. I am definately going to keep an eye on them daily so as to be one of the first. This is so exciting and am looking forward to a hobby that I can experiment with, share results and tips in the future.
