  • As many of you kow, I have babied a 3-speed Sturmey-Archer as a jackshaft for a few years. It is too d---ed sensative for me and acts like it only has 2 speeds. I am considering using a Huffey Cranbrook frame to mount my 5-1/2 HP Jiang Dong in using an industrial split pulley I have for a transmiission and a rocker shift peddle like Servicycle did, similiar to the rocker clutch on old Hawgs and Indians A drag clutch for resistance to retain settings Simply need to mount it on a slide to run it fore and aft to change ratios with a centrifugal clutch on the engine.
