  • That's not the case and POPS is wrong in assuming and saying that. Bubble gum and blowing bubbles isn't regulated or defined by law. Is chewing it or blowing a bubble with it illegal? Laws are very specific as are most of it's definitions for good reason. Our legal systems would be a real mess if laws and definitions were made up on the fly.
Hey Rock I was just skimmin through your thread about ontario and POPS said if something is not regulated or defined in a province its automatically illegal.tell me hes just trying to scare people.
Best thing to tell a police officer during a road side stop is nothing that could be used against you. I mean it's law in Canada that you have to answer some very basic questions about yourself, producing your ID is ok too, but when it comes to questions about your bike during a stop clam up in a respectful way. If they give you a hard time for not answering a question like, "was the engine running when I seen you?", you know they are fishing but need to sink a hook before they can reel you in. If they ask what you use the engine for an answer like "its just for show" is good enough. If they ask how many cc the engine is tell them, it don't matter if it's 10cc or 1000cc really when you think about it.

This guy's video's are good to watch and listen to.

Don't Talk to Cops, Part 1 - YouTube
Thanks rock you too I dont know if youve already mentioned this in your previous threads but what would I tell a cop if he calls my modified bicycle a motorcycle because of the hand operated clutch I have on my china girl?one more question- what would be the safe amount of CCs to tell whomever might pull me over? Thanks again for all your help- Keith
And instead of just getting out of the thread after the good info was handed to them they take it way off topic with useless banter about electric lawnmowers from Canadian Tire. I think they attacked me in there somewhere too about not having pictures of my bikes posted. I had many pictures of my work posted on here but one day I got so frustrated with fasteddy, and a moderator that was chewing my ass off for telling fasteddy to stay out of the legal threads, that I deleted them all. lol...kind of regret that now but oh well.

Ride safe Keith and have much fun :)
It seems as if everyone who got busted that pops meantions didnt know the law and called their modified bicycle a moped then in result they got screwed with fines. Also i dont know if youve been keeping up on my thread but steve and pops think we are the same person I lol'd hard when he said that. And I noticed that steve tried to put our bikes in the MAC and LSM definitions and he knows weve proved him wrong thats whats really starting to piss me off.-Keith
What a bunch of crackpots these guys are eh, they don't what damn end is up!

They need to be medicated or something...lol
rock you made my thread with your post and yes all steve does is try to put our bicycles in a definition it doesnt meet.I see why orge power got pissed at him cuz he just doesnt get it.
Yea I see that Keith. These guys just can't read and understand law it seems. Been an ongoing frustration for a long time and I try to stay away but it really gets under my skin when they spew BS about the legality of modified bicycles in Canada. As I said in your thread I don't know whats worse, being misinformed or uninformed.
