  • Hey John, I have plans for using one piece on my next build. The other piece will eventualy be used too.
    If you use a 10 on the clutch to a 24 0n the jackshaft input, and a 10 on the jack output to a 44 on the wheel you will have a 10.36 ratio, = 36.6mph at 5000. This is a good trafe-off and would allow easy take-offs and a relaxed cruise at 30 mph and 4100
    Hey Wayne, If I have a 10T clutch and a 10T on one side of the jackshaft and a 44T rear sprocket with a 26" wheel. What size would be good for flat roads with a 99cc predator on the input side of the jackshaft. You seem to be very knowledgeble about it. Looking for easy take off and maybe 25-30mph . Thanks, Ron
