  • Three Shoes Centrifugal Clutch Plate fr 49cc Engine *****
Anyone purchased this clutch? Im having lots of problems with mine. Not adapting to the 49cc engine i purchased. Its getting f'hot from springs and or metal parts of the clutch touching the bell housing even when not under load. springs are stretching and breaking, maybe due to heat.

clutch problem sorted. Bike goes anywhere. I live on a mountain. The steepest road is hardly a challenge with this set up.
the bike is complete and the 24 gears i can use is awesome. Up the steepest of hills and a good top speed on the flatlands. The clutch in the gearbox is poorly ( 1 of the 3 springs in the centrifical clutch breaks) this is my 2nd now, heading off to see the seller for my 3rd, they only last a few hours after fitting. The 4 stroke is running well.
Yeah, I think we are on the same page sort to speak probably because we have both bought enough crap that doesn't hold up.

It turns out that on that on 12 volt battery we are looking at you can use a regular 12 volt car battery charger set on the trickle charge (2 amps usually) It will charge enough in a half hour.

One thing I have realized is that most of the stuff designed for regular bikes simply do not work on a bike once you put an engine on it because of the vibration. Most things just can't handle it and they fall apart so yeah that is why I am looking at the Motorcycle sites where I found most of this stuff.

G'day to all. My 1st bike project ..I just installed a 4 stroke Titan/ HSeng into my MTB 26"discbreak, large frame. It has a new style 6:1(cent' clutch) reduction gearbox attached. Im going to use a freewheel crank and sprocket on the left side of the bike to align a chain from the gearbox drive sprocket to the crank sprocket. Im hoping this works similar to the trikbike kit, without* the crossover style from one side to the other. Im hoping to retain the cluster gears for use on the right hand side. Ive made changes to the bottom bracket ,with one side of the the spindle being longer, which has lengthened the left side peddle, to enable use of it outside the gearbox width. Aligning the 2 sprockets has meant a visit to an engineer to make adjustments to the gearbox sprocket to suit.( currently waiting on delivery of it) Im realy hoping this works. Any suggestions would be most welcome thanks...roll on
