    I'm "2nu2noBetter". I don't know you but your reply to my post (or just a reply to the thread in general) is right on the money. I'm no frame builder, but I do know bikes. Steel is real:)
    Rather than post this in the thread, I thought I'd drop you a PM so as not to "hijack" the thread. Do you have any pictures of some of your builds? One thing often missed is the use of an adjustable frame jig. Steel twists with heat unless well quenched and/or held in a jig. Even modifying an existing frame can benefit from its use. I am fond of the idea of low temperature "fillet" brazing for frames, as the steel (which is usually heat treated when you get, as you know) weakens directly proportionately to the temperature at which it is welded.
