Hi Scotchmo, I am new to the forum and was reading an old post about lighting/charging system from white wire. I like your idea about half wave rectifier to battery, but I was concerned about putting a SLA battery in the circuit because they have to be maintained off season, etc. Is it possible to put a capacitor after white wire diode and then a resistor after the cap to limit discharge current, instead of using a battery? Thanks.
