after months of R & D, the full floater automatic adjustment caliper mount is the only way to fly!...or stop. Using the top-hat & sprocket combo - (order through us for proper sizing)- the disc brake is a possibility.

Consider that the closest product is the A2Z adapter that costs $40.00 + The A2Z products are made in larger production runs and are generic products that might not work for all bikes. This product is a small production run and made to fit specifically for the Skyhawk GT frame.

that's a nice disclaimer, but consider the hard work and time other people put into a product to try and create an easy solution in an evolving market before you go slamming them and spreading negativity.

maybe feedback after trying the product is invaluable. but slamming someone for a product price without knowing what they're talking about is irresponsible negativity. not constructive or helpful on ANY forum, AnyWHERE

ok, gotcha, and I dont want to go round and round with you. it's a part that's crafted with aerospace aluminum that isnt going to fail like the chinese parts in the kit. It's not made in China. its made here, in the USA, where workers seem to think getting paid for their efforts is somehow deserved. It is what it is. if someone thinks its too steep they shouldnt be buying a skyhawk frame anyway. Or considering a rear disc brake. the average rear disc setup we have been providing is roughly $400 in component parts alone. it's an expensive option for a motorized bike to begin with, and we apologize for the extremely expensive price. now lets move on with our day.

Sad but true, jobs disappear here, standard of living is going down, people have less to spend and buy the cheapest slave made goods they can that were once made in NA.
If a person had a choice to buy a widget made in NA for $13.95 and the same thing made in china was $4.95 and they were on a tight budget, guess which widget they will buy?
Sad but true.

Manufacturing and selling in North America must be a tough gig.

Maybe as your unit manufacturing costs go down as more are made (like new electronic goods) your price can be more attractive to those whose cash flow sucks.

There's a lot of us poor suckers, I am one of them.

...we can stave off much of those consequences if enough of us become willing to support American business' and American workers and choose to spend a little more to buy products made in America to American standards and by American workers.

...consider also that you get what you pay for, cheap invariably ends up costing more than the price of quality if you buy the quality the first time because cheap will need to be replaced, probably multiple times, while the quality part continues to serve safely and reliably.

...so if you're on a budget, don't settle for the cheap chinese junk, save your money until you can afford the quality alternative, it'll cost more up front but, in the long run, it'll end up saving you money.

It's a catch 22, if you need it now and you only have so much to spend, you get what you can afford.
Look at all those Wal-Mart shoppers.

Sell less at $xxx.xx make more/unit, or sell more at $xx.xx and make less/unit and compete better.
It's a compromise, if the quality is that much better, or it's unique, choose $xxx.xx, if it is not unique choose
$xx.xx

Sad fact, most people will not pay $59.95 plus S&H no matter how much better it is, and most do not care where it is made.
And some will choose to make there own, and if they were to be paid for making it themselves, it would be worth more than 59.95 considering time, labour, and profit margin!
