Ported and resurfaced cylinder
Puch High Comp 70cc head

CRMachine modified piston
Jaguar cdi & coil system
BP8HS cold plug
Vintage spark plug wire

Hey again truckd,

The indian I was asking about was the picture in post #482, I have been watching this thread for a long time, so I know that the new bike is yours. Its a beauty, no doubt.

Dan hasn't run the engine, it is how it was left and you'd have to have a fuel set up of some sort,Dan was just commissioned to build the frame, tank and set it up as a roller for the customer and as I said the customer has not contacted Dan in a while about it, so it's one of those ??????????????? situations, he still contiues to work on it though,
You know how Dan is commited to the end.
And for all those who think Dans forks are a little pricey, well you honestly don't know and or realize how well those forks are made, they are laser cut parts and made in a high precision jig with chromo steel, engineered for a motorcycle and Dan doesn't let anything JENKY roll outta his shop, in this case you get more! than what you pay for.
The Indian in #482 is a 1919 Gilbert basically an affordable bike at it's time as there were not too many goodies on it.

I dont think the major builders on here ( any of em ) let junk out of their shops: but I can attest to the forks from Taylar. I think the forks he made with the springer and all; weigh as much as the rest of the bike combined! Not joking. You'd think he used solid bar stock.

Your bike really has it going on. The attention to detail is eye opening.

Found this at an antique store yesterday and bought it for $5.oo it is a Huffman made WW2 military tire pump, this is what the pump would have looked like on the bike.
I will remove the paint and polish the brass then use it on my up comming build "Big Black Jack"

It only took 8 months from start to finish, and considering that all the delay's weren't beacuse of lack of interest, there was work, wifey, holidays, parts delivery delays, design and fabrication time & most important $$$. ( I know excuses, excuses )
Nothing on this bike is of common stock and regaurdless of where the engine was originally made? it has been remade and is no longer the bear'er of Chinese parts( well maybe 2 parts, Case & Cylinder)
The fabrication of parts is really endless even down to the custom made cables and hand polished SS Nuts,Bolts, washers, faux Magneto Box and case, there was some frustration but mostly Fun!Fun!fun! even with amazement of the crowds that gathered around my truck at the place's I stopped when transporting it to and from Dans place, they were so charged to see it, all the compliments from this forums members, Fun!Fun!Fun!
Decals for the the Crank Case, Chrome the exhaust pipe and kill switch is all thats needed, then on with the next one "Big Black Jack" Ya' All go'n like this one too!

You deserve that. Your bike is a marvel. Do you have any plans to take it to bike shows?
