Default Ebike that doesn't look like George Jetson's

Tossing around designs for an ebike that looks more like a motor bike.

I don't want to mount batteries in a bag on the cargo rack. I'm thinking a steel, frame mounted battery box with a few manifolds bolted to it. Also considering mounting batteries in hard case saddlebags.

Considering a rear hub motor or "Off-Road", kickstand area mounted motor; 36v or better.
Any body used one of the "Off-road" motors from down under?

Some autocad sketches are shown below; exported as jpegs.

if i was designing the bike for my self, i'd stick the battery and motor in the frame somewhere, no rack mount/ rear fender, little leather case for tools, quality leather seat as low and far back as possible, the beefiest mountain bike forks i can get, happy time engine (for back up power) and some sort of linkage from the electric motor to start the happy time. and 5 inch riser handlebars

have you seen the old schwinn chopper. It used a hub motor and the batteries were in the frame but inside a case that looked like cylinder heads. There is a picture of one around somewhere.

Sounds like you both know what I'm talking about.
I want an electric ride that has a gas-powered appearance.
