wheel sprocket?

when using the 2x1.25 tires,whats is the best way to get the chain out far enough not to hit the tire, it a coaster brake,the bike is bought from target, its a schwinn windwood 26''

Some of the sprockets have an offset in them so you can turn them one way or the other for different spacing. Or you might put a spacer between the sprocket and the fiberwashers to move it out a bit.................

The best way to go is to make sure the two sprockets line up so the chain runs straight. If it rubs the tire lightly, it won't hurt anything.
If it rubs more, go to a smaller tire.

I normally use 2X1.25s. never had a problem with rubbing. Then again, I let new builds "wear in" lol

The instructions usually say to put the thin rubber donut between the sprocket and the spokes and the thick one behind the spokes. You might mount the sprocket with the thick one outside the spokes and the thin one behind the spokes.

Like Joe says, check your chain line. It might be pulling the chain over to the tire. In that case, shim the wheel over a little with washers on the left side of the axle.

Those fat tired cruisers usually have little to no dishing. The box store bikes usually don't have any.

How much room is on the other side of the tire? If you have enough of a gap to the regular bike chain you can dish the wheel a little to move the rim over.
