Default large lower frame tube

i got a huffy cruiser frame a friend wants me to put a 66cc skyhawk kit on-the front frame tube is larger than the mount. i just put mine on a rhino frame, and cut out a section of the large tube and welded in a 2" section of 28mm tube so it fit fine. I don't really want to cut this one as it's a new bike. does anyone have ideas to modify? the large tube adapter plate that comes with the kit looks really-mickey mouse. i'm sure someone else has run into this-all ideas appreciated-thanx-G.Z. sorry, should have posted in troubleshooting! oops forgive me,i'm new.

Thanks for the great links and direction. I'm working on getting my sketchytooth together and reliable, and ALL of these links have helped me tremendously.

Hope to pay it forward with some pics of my upgrades soon.

heres pics of how i make the mounts on the cranebrook and other large tube frames. i just cut out brackets and weld them to the frame. then use tierod end link rubbers from autozone. works great.

Camlifter and I think alike.
Here's two mounts, same concept but one is welded on, the other one clamps to the frame.
The difference between Camlifter's and mine is his is a double shear design and mine are single shear. Both will support a little 2 stroke just fine. Nice work, Cam.
