Pacific ht motorized bicycle build

Re: Pacific ht build

yeah thats a 38mm tube. this mount has a larger surface area so it wont vibrate as much. looks bulky though

Re: Pacific ht build

Modified stock muffler... dont mind the bad welds and missing paint, i'm going to dress it up soon enough.

And new grips!

It's gonna look very professional after I cut the front brake cable to length. That's the one you see sticking out, I already fit the clutch cable.

Re: Pacific ht build

Here's the bike the day I got it. Someone threw it out... It didn't come with that seat.

Re: Pacific ht build

no one seems to care, but ill post more pics just so they're here.

SHA 14.12 (12mm!) carb, 62 jet, home made filter. small carbs for the win.

I get ~8500 rpm on that 12mm carb on a slight downhill. thats around 35 mph i think?

Re: Pacific ht build

Nice documentary here adb. Those tires look similiar to the old style Metezler M3's I had on my 600 Ninja way back in '86. Do they stick good and where did you get them? It has to be a big improvement over the knobbys.

Re: Pacific ht build

Thanks. Those tires get great reviews. I am not sure if I have the clearance for such a wide tire on a coaster-brake cycle tho. At that price and level of performance however, I may take a chance and find out.
