Default How many horses does this thing have?

Does anyone know how many horses these 2 stroke engines have? What about a torque rating? How can I test my engine's rating?

I found this page that says 4-5 HP ...Jet 80cc 2 Stroke Bicycle Motor - Jet 80cc 2 Stroke Bicycle Engine Kit - 66cc Bicycle Engine Kit

go to the website you bought at and they will list it(mite not be truthfull 100% thou)

48cc dualstart starfire gt2 grubee
1.61hp/6800rpms(1.95hp on engine plate) 1.77lbs/ft 4500rpms upto 200mpg
max speed with 44t sprocket on 26" bike 32mph+
i bought mine at gasbike.net and i converted the nubers myself

i looked up and converter the numbers for the jet80cc 2-stroke:
information found on gasbike.net for jet80 2-stroke $119
66cc
2.0kw or 2.7hp
Rated Speed: 5500rpms
Fuel/Oil Ratio: 40:1

No, CDI is an acronym for Capacitive Discharge Ignition.

Truthfully, these engines make between 1.5 and 2.5 hp. Depending on several factors.
