Default engine studs

Got a 49cc kit from Canada that had some problems with the cylinder head (damaged spark
plug threads)requiring removal of the head and repairing or replacement. When removing the
head noticed that one of the 4.25 in long 6mm studs that goes through the cylinder head
and cylinder and the engine base had damaged upper threads due to some worker at the factory forcing a damaged nut onto the stud. Does anyone know where to buy these studs? Did check several web sites with no luck. The company in Canada that I bought the kit from has them but the shipping is fairly high. Have e-mailed them about my problem but so far to response but
am trying to get them to send me a new stud plus a new head.
