Default Direction of the Exhaust/Muffler

So my exhaust was getting in the way of my right peddle. I clamped it on the table and then bent it. Now it clears it by a good 2 inches, however; I seem to have bent it outwards so that the exhaust is almost perpendicular to the ground. Are there any possible problems that could occur from the exhaust not facing backwards?

I haz stinky shoes - but it's nuthin' to do w/me bike o.o

Well, it's hard to tell without pics but while the exhaust shouldn't have a problem getting out, you might have a vibration problem and possible fastener failure eventually if yer pipe is just stickin' out unsupported.

I don't think it's a big problem or anythin' - I've just never been a fan of the stock pipe design. Depending on how far it sticks out you may want to rebend it and/or add a support bracket if you're able.

A propane torch will heat it enough to make it easier to shape but you'll probably have to paint the header section when your done.
