 update on monark build
thought i would show how my 55 monark is coming along. getting closer as i have everything done except fuel tank. check out my hub which i machined from scratch. the design is similar to the hub offered my the maniac mechanic. mine works with the stock sprocket offered in the grubee skyhawk gt-5 kit. i had to machine the bore to make the sprocket run true. i now have runout less than .003 and i retained the stock dust cover and coaster brake assembly. i also machine a better motor mount. i still have to final fit the mount for the tube diameter which is why you will see a small gap in the pictures.also got a question to throw out at you guys, any body have a cool idea to vent fuel tank. would like to keep it simple and hide inside the stock tank covers. as always i look forward to hearing your guys feed back-big mike
