Default Harley Board Tracker / Halycon

Chuck from Halycon and I are in the progress of putting together my second ride.

I have purchased a frame, fork, and tank set up and it is being built as we speak.

I will post pics and keep you updated on the build process. This should be a fun pain in the butt as alot of this will be new to me! I am looking foward to the challenge and I can promise you this build will be bad ace, with no expense spared. (dont tell my wife)

I will post pics as I get them from Chuck. Once I have the items from Chuck I will post updated pics as I fastly progress (hopefully) through this fun project.

Here are some more pictures of the build for Capt. Matt. As you can see I have mounted the motor. I have also fabricated the custom exhaust. Matt, this question is for you.....Would you like a metal plate below the mounts to fill the open space? Somthing cool looking perhaps with some circles cut out in it. The tank is next!!!

Sweet! I love the engine mount. Make its look like it was ment to be there! Also can we mount a nut on top of the muffler so it can strap to the frame so the engine does not support it. I had to heli coil my exhaust mounts ont he engine I have now due to that. We welded a nut and did that on the indian replica and it works well. You might even have a better idea.

I have attached some pics of what I mean. (playing in photo shop).

Also I messed around with the plate idea in PS. Im kinda leaning towards maybe a small number plate. Would a number plate work there? Enough room?

What does everyone think? I know its kinda the wrong place for a number plate, but it kinda plays into my road racing days etc and might be a cool fast way to fill the space.

Matt, my concern for the # plate is that you will have the chains and the motor chain guard covering most of that. I will start with cutting a plate for that section then I will post the pics so you can see what it looks like before I weld it in. As far as the exhaust mount, that is no problem. So when you get back from the water I will have some new pics posted.

Good call on the # plate. Will check out the pics. The sprocket and peadls will prob cover a bit there too. We can do away with the chain guard if needed too.

I would recomend not getting rid of the chain guard because of the position of that chain. It might be kinda sketchy. I also have a plan to make a more stable idle pulley mount. I will photoshop some ideas to the forum.
