To answer the question about paint.....This build is for someone else. I am just doing the frame tank and forks for Captain Matt. He will choose the color. I think he was thinking about olive drab.

I have a vintage briggs motor that I have been playing with. I agree about riding on the road. I will have to say that the 50cc 2-stroke makes it fun and easy.

I guess the problem comes when someone really wants to ride this on the road - better be a "50cc" for moped purposes.
Love the overall shape.

Chuck wow, I got slack on the message board and it was a suprise to see all the pics.

On the rear box no worries, lets leave it off and if I want one I can always do it later.

On the tank mounts, If brass will look cool I think that would be the way to go!

Yeah Im still on the olive color. Im going to try to get it done to take to Florida at the end of November but It might not get touched untill I get back. Hard to say, its time for me to slow down but Im still pretty dern busy!

And hey, this is a 50 cc

99% done! I finished the brass tank mounts. The tank is now fully rubber mounted. I board out the clutch lever to fit the 1" bars and hooked up the clutch cable as well. Fuel lines are all in place and sealed. A couple little odds and ends then I will be shipping it out. It will be sad to see it go, the forks came out better then I anticipated.

I just wanted to say pre delivery it has been great to work with Chuck. His work speaks for its self, the communication was good, and he is honest. On a open budget bike where we kept adding this and that, at the end of the project my estimate was off by a whopping $25. Awesome! I look foward to recieving the bike.

On a side note I was going to let my wife ride the Indian bike and I was going to ride this one. She cant ride the Indian due to a knee injury years ago so this bike or the Indian might go for sale in the future. We will see.

Thanks Chuck!
