This somehow does not suprise me one bit.
He is very good at what he does and obviously enjoys doing it.
If I ever win the lottery I would be doing the same thing, but not necessairly a complete scratch build like your friend has done. I would not know where to begin.
I have always wanted a '30- '32 Ford or Chevy pickup truck. I do not like bondo or fiberglass.
