Default springs?

I need two 250 pound springs to replace the stock 550 pound springs on two rear suspension shocks. Anybody have any links? These are cheapo shocks like the ones that come with the Walmart Mongoose varieties. Its for a good cause . This is a very important part of a full suspension project.

Seams the lightest I can find are 300 pound. Its gonna be way to stiff. 200 pound might be Ideal yet......

Heres my prob the rear triangle design I have, of a really cool steel version rear end came from a design pattern that will not ever leave room for a China 2 smoke. It is very cool I have held it in my hands for months now and see the light!! The spring design in the original rear end sending the spring it self well under the seat post. I am going for a design that straddles from the out sides right and left of the said seat post for its original meant trajectory. Thats why I need way lighter springs. Also I am sarcastically doing what I kinda always wanted . To have my own unique cruiser look ! I recently scored at a garaged sale a huffy beach cruiser cantilever that I am not bashful to weld on.... Its coming !! Jack shaft and all. Last any break on springs is certainly appreciated. I am dreaming big this will be my show bike. LOL I did find some leads to custom manufacturers sounds expensive I will post what I found later after checking.....

I have one thats 450 and one that says nothing, I do not know what that one is. And it looks like I have done a little grinding to it trying to get it to fit something.

Look for the thread "Build your own springer front fork". There's a link in that thread that
may be of interest.
