Default Pocket Bike Engine Throttle Cable?

I have a high-performance pocket bike engine I want to mount on my cruiser bikes. The only thing holding me back is finding a throttle cable of suitable length, maybe 65" or so. The engine's carb is a Dellorto replica 14/14 carb, which has "hook-style" connection(90-degree threaded pipe) at the carb linkage. I tried small engine shops here, but they don't fabricate custom-length throttle cables.

What would you suggest?

Myron

Ooh, the motorcycle shop. I'll check there.

I was just there today and bought a 3/4 face helmet.

All my throttles are spliced home made jobs. I use a shifter as a throttle sooo it is the control part then I splice it to the existing throttle at what ever point I need to. sometime I need a return sprint at the end of the shifter cable because the drag is too much for the carb spring.

You can make your own throttle using a grip shifter, with the standard cable and outer, then silver solder a piece of small brass tube onto the end of the cable. I get my tube from the local hobby shop.
