Need info on a donated engine

Hey guys I was given a go cart motor that is missing a few pieces (the carburator & Pull start assembly). The problem is I don't know what brand of motor it is. It has very few stampings on it, I found what looks like a serial number but thats about it. I know its made in japan. Any links that can point me in the right direction to more info on this motor it seems like it would be a great motor if I could get it all running. Would there be after market carbs that could work on it if so where do you guys find things like that.

Ok Its a Honda G300 model any body have an online source that is reliable for honda parts?

G300?....I think thats a generator motor.

My uncle has a Honda generator and it is a G300, I'm sure they use it for other applications

Google "Honda G300" and then go to photos, is that the engine you have? It is not a Generator engine. Have fun, Dave
