Default Rear Gear Help!

Hello all! Just wanted to say hello and ask a quick question. I just been reading this site for awhile and seems awsome! So i got myself a china kit and am currently installing it on my Schwinn Cruiser! Well i am to the rear gear, and it doesnt fit over the hub. Is this correct or should i take the trusty dremel tool to it to make it slide over? I havent installed it yet for fear of bending spokes if I need to enlarge the hole some before i install it. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you can grind it out perfectly on center, go for it. I usually remove the dust cap, grind off the outer flange and reinstall. It's quicker and more accurate.

Don't forget to make the slight "Z" bend in the brake arm. to clear the sprocket bolts. Just give it a bend near the axle hole and another out at the tip where it fits up with the "clamp" to the chainstay.
