Exclamation 2 stroke oil?

Ive read to use synthetic 2 stroke oil only in these engines. Is this true? If so what are the major brands. Another thing, what prep work would you do for winter storage? Thanx a Bunch.

Any oil for AIR COOLED ENGINES will work....no outboard stuff.
"Regular" two stroke oil (non-synthetic) will work fine too.

I have used both at 24:1 in all my bikes.
