| | help please with pipelyne /morini or anyone I am in the first stages of building another Briton racer, this time with an s6t morini 5.8hp engine. does any one have the ph# for Dean at pipelyne? another thing i am running into is clearance with my cranks and pedals hit the engine, any thoughts. Here is the picture of the Briton with a Chinese motor, there is enough room for the morini but no clearance for the pedal.
thanks |

thanks | Deans number at Pipelyne is (408) 279-2307
I don't know how you will make a one piece crank work. If you go to a three piece crank set up you will have to lengthen your bottom bracket shaft, or have a special one made that is a couple inches longer. Looks like I am going to have to lenghten mine since I am planning on using a Morini S6-E on one of my winter builds.

| | Re: help please with pipelyne /morini or anyone I'm not sure what the overall width of the Morini 's are but There are a couple of wide Crankset options available from the worlds of 4-stroke kits. The wide one piece crankset is made to clear the the motor with its attached gearbox (approx. 9in. +-) The 3-piece is even wider still although I can't say exactly how wide it actually sets up, I believe its pushing 11in.? To use the 3-piece in a cruiser bike made for a one piece crankset you will also need the adapter set as well. See the links below 3pc Wide Crank Pedal Kit - $29.99 1pc to 3pc Wide Crank Conversion Kit - $34.99 Wide Crank Pedal Kit - $29.99

| | Re: help please with pipelyne /morini or anyone Pedal extenders, $16.99 on Amazon.com. 9/16", they gave me just the right clearance for mt S6S, my crank arms clear the motor by less than an inch.
