Default Bike Compatability

Ok so I'm interested in getting myself a motorized bike and i was wondering what bike i should use. The bike i have now is an old steel beast that i would very much like to use but i don't know if its suitable for mounting a motor on.

This is the bike I've got

Would it work to stick with this bike or should i start shopping for something different?

HI,

I think most people would shy away from something with such skinny tires and opt for something a little more "beefier"....I have never seen a converted road bike tho so there is always room for a first!

Good Luck

Andrew

PS - Personally I would recommend a good mountain bike...that is what I ended up using.
