I have run one engine @ 32:1 for a long time and it never had problems, but since these engines are really bad with consistent tolerances, I don't know if I would go 50:1.

At any rate remeber the more oil you use in the mix, the leaner your engine will run.

Interesting.
I'm sure 50:1 will work, and 30:1 or under is just too oily with Saber. 35:1 or 40:1 in a well broken in engine is about right. 32:1 if it's a very hot location.

I'll give you a decent discount on a case. Let me know.

You might also want to check to make sure you are not getting any compression leaks around the head gasket. Look for any oily leaks. Also might want to check for a leak around the gasket for the exhaust pipe..

PS. I ordered the oil from Pable on Thursday afternoon. It ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE ON FRIDAY! A++++ Super Seller!

Cruiser - no oily leaks anywhere. I think the pinging I'm hearing is just the piston firing. If I lean back, it goes away and just sounds normal...lean forward enough, and I hear it. Motor is running fantastic...just me being paranoid, I think.

Marktur
the sound you might be hearing is the cylinder fins ringing there's been a lot of discussion on this in the past you can try puting short lengths of rubber between the fins to stop or quiet the noise.

I dunno...it's a tick sound, really. Not musical like ringing.
