Sombody told me a Nuvinci

Someday told me a Nuvinci can be ran forward or backward . Just need to pull a trick with the free wheel sprocket flip it . This would mean my full sus project just threw a twist . I don not think the spheres in the hub care which way they are locking by. The direction of rotation!! Any input on this is this true. I think it will work!

I just ordered 1 and don't have an opinion on this but if you talk to fairbanks that makes them you will get your answer. My guess is no but thats just a guess from what I see going on in there.You know the old saying about talking to the horses head as opposed to....Plus the issue about the shift controler...POPS

A friend of mine is involved with retrofitting a NuVinci in a Nauticraft and he said that the reverse idea is not working well for him.

How is it not working he could not figure out how to flop the free wheel spocket around what?

The gearing does not change in reverse mode apparently. It does reverse but just not at the ratio that he wants and he can't seem to change that. More as I hear from him as he is working on it currently.
