Default So much for being nice to the bike

So I read the thread about keeping up on your wheel bearings. I even read the how-to. Earlier this week I went out and bought new balls for the front and rear with a tube of waterproof grease. I take it all apart and clean everything, and I inspect the races. Nothing too far fetched so I replace hte balls of same size and pack the grease in. Tighten it down to spec and throw it back on the bike. GF and I take a ride and 30 or so miles later my front end is all over the place. I take it apart only to find this....

Went to the bike shop and got a brand new wheel assy for 20 bux. I'm happy again. So much for maintaining the bike!

2 bux for front and rear. I don't care how cheap they are...they shouldn't do that!

Cheap as in China cheap. A chunk of my previous life was spent dealing with lousy Chinese ball bearings.
