Default Peddling and downhill speed?

Do you think it hurts these things to kick in and peddle faster than the engine will go? Or going down steep hills? I usually put it in neutral coasting downhill but in traffic I have kicked in on the peddles to make that green light ect.

There is absolutely no way that I could pedal faster than my motor takes me, unless I am at a stop, and even then not by much.

I'm not telling bairdco how fast my bike goes, but it goes "really fast..."

If the motor is wound out all the way and you kick in at higher gear you increase the horsepower by adding your leg muscles...bein a former mover I can put out a pretty good amount of torq with the legs. Plus my legs are used to draggin around my fat arse too LOL
