a new sound
i have had this kit now for about 3 to 4 weeks its been running just up untill now its making a loud sound from the engine! i have 135 miles on it it should be broken in! i have been using 16 to 1 ratio and it started making a LOUD sound i thought it might be the clutch but the clutch is working fine! so anyone have any thought it would be great help for me thanks THe Willi

Please explain this sound. Does it follow engine RPM? High pitched? Clanking?

16:1 is a lot of oil, I break mine in at 22:1 with full synthetic and it takes about 300 miles for a full break in, besides this check everything on the bike, rims, chain,

Yes Pablo, it is coming from the clutch cover! thanks. I am using some cardboard to silence the sound and it seems tobe working! thanks to tdove and a couple of other people! i"ve got it under control now! SO again Thanks to Everyone here At this Site, Later The Willi
