Thier are stud removal tool but most likely you won't have room to use....and it is a small eninvestment, if you brake alot of stud's and bolt's you may want to look into it.

| | Re: How to fix broke stud/bolt If you have enough stud or threads left, you can make a slot and use a screwdriver to remove....I'm using a grinder but I have also used a hacksaw
Make slot with grinder
Slot on stud/bolt
Now you can use screwdriver |

Screw Extractor's
Tool's you will need...Drill, drill bit, center punch, hammer, cresent wrench or right sized wrench, screw extractor..

| | Re: How to fix broke stud/bolt Use center punch on center of stud/bolt for drilling...make's drilling much easier and helps keep drill hole in center
Next..you want to start to drill...sometimes drilling with smaller drill bit, then bigger drill bit makes it easier. Always use nice sharp drill bit's or it will take forever.. Do your best to keep the hole centered... It's good to drill hole all they way threw, but sometimes not necessary
Once you have your hole you can use the screw extractor
Now you want to turn with wrench screw extractor counter clockwise |

| | Re: How to fix broke stud/bolt With any luck it will work great
Now...If you break screw extractor in the bolt/stud you are in deep crap..Sometimes... The smaller the stud/bolt, the more difficult it will be..after a certain size, I will not use the screw extractor method
More to come when time is available.... |
