Has anyone tryed the intake from a yamaha

I have been looking at old pics in posts and I noticed norman has a shorter intake manafold on one of his bikes and it looks like a yamaha intake so I was wondering if the genrally fit onto our bikes , a shorter one would work really well on my bike!

I would love to be able to just walk into a parts store that carry morcyle part and order what i need without explaning what i need for everytime i mention china ...well you know!

Thats a Norman intake. He makes them himself. Norman haven't you always had a short intake?.........................
