Fuel tank bung/cap?

Hi folks,
I found a local welder that seems interested in building me a fuel tank. For anyone that has done this, how did you fabricate the fuel bung/cap and the fuel line connection? I figure I can just install and inline shutoff. I am considering a worksman frame. I want to go for the boardtracker look.

I have no experience with custom tanks, but maybe you could buy a a used tank from craigslist and have your welder use the neck and cap from it. Good luck.

Here is one solution to a fuel cap Fuel Caps, Filler Caps and Bungs Bungs like these are available from several manufactures. Even the smaller one shown as an oil tank cap can be used for fuel. The Bung King is another source that probably has what you might be looking for. Bung King

I used the Filler cap with steel bung for the tank on the Rotten Orange. Worked great!

Wow - sweet stuff. OTOH, you gotta have a serious customer base when you name your company "Bung King" !!!
