emergency thread. throttle cable came out of carb

I'm sorry, but i dont have the time to search the site for this answer. i'm at a friends house and need to leave like now.

i was riding and the top of the carb where the throttle cable goes in came off. i can not get the throttle cable to work. can someone please help me with some detailed isntructions on how to fix this?

i have an 80cc raw motor

The top of the carb came off with the cable and slide or the cable itself came out of the carb?

If the top of the carb came off with the cable and slide just line up the long slot in the slide facing the right side of the bike and the short slot facing the left, put the slide back into the carb and tighten the cap, it threads on.

the slide is the sleeve under the spring thing? how do i do this? can you give a little more detail?

The slot in the picture should face the right side of the bike and slide into the carb then tighten the cap.
