Default Cranbrook Chain Guard

For safety's sake I would rather run the chain guard but cannot figure how to mount it. Has anyone any pictures or descriptions to post? What is the bright piece about 9/16" x 13" with a round hole in one and and two rectangular holes, one off the center and the other on the end? Where does this go. Having caught my pants in a regular bike chain, I would like the guard in place.
Thanks for any and all input.

D. J. Pedal Pusher (hope to ride soon)

Ok this is how I did mine.

There is one bolt for the clutch cover that sticks out of the block, bolt one end of the chain guard there. Now you'll probably have to do what I did to mine and grind out a semicircle in the top of the chain guard to fit around the frame in the rear. Use one of the straps that come in the kit and nit and bolt it to the frame leg.

You may have to do some grinding in the middle of the top edge of the guard to clear the tire too.

Kevlarr,

Thanks lots. I hope to get several things done today. Yesterday I mixed up my fuel. I hope today or tomorrow to attempt first start.
