components are different than auction pix..

Greetings: I bought another eng kit, and when I got it some of the components were different than shown in the auction pics. For example the carb I got has the black plastic cover, instead of the chrome vent type shown, the clutch lever is steel with a different release than the push button aluminum lever shown (I think it's probably better), the grips are all black, the pix show shiny ends. My question is are they basically all the same, are the carbs identical regardless of the type of cover? etc, etc,

As far as I know, they are. I ordered a vented carb from boygofast on ebay and the carb looks the same as the black covered one. The vented cover uses an adaptor to connect it to the carb. Otherwise everything was the same. You may want to check the jet size though. Sometimes they may be different but the use the same jets as the ones from Dellorto
